The Hottest Trends in Kitchen and Bath Design are Modern and Intelligent

The Dining Desk by Poggenpohl/Draenert

What are the hottest trends in Kitchen and Bath design right now?

Judging by the trade shows this past spring, Modern, with a dose of intelligent design is definitely what's happening right now. Think minimalist cabinets, accessories made of glass and unframed appliances. Also of note were the light-as-air retractable fixtures as well as the fixtures that were finished with gold or even black.
